Poetry in a time of crisis. When I visited Athens, I remembered the economic crisis in my own country, Ecuador, in the 1990s. Like the current crisis in Greece, the economic collapse in Ecuador was largely the result of foreign debt that couldn’t be paid back. I applied paint to my silicone breasts, and violently collided with the Greek flag repeatedly. I marked the flag with my breasts.
Subsequently, I selected a person from the audience, whom I coerced into writing the text of the Greek flag on my body, close to my breasts: Έλευθερία ή Θάνατος ( Liberty or Death).
