Inspiration: The idea to make my first Art Calendar 2020 came when I realise this double numbers 20-20 and that I will be not here to celebrate again any year with double numbers like 3030, 4040, etc… This make me reflect about my sad fragile human mortally and inspired me to make my first Limited edition Art Calendar 2020.My dream is to help animals through my art

Description : I was inspired by “Witches’s Flight by Franscisco Goya 1797” (seminude witches bearing a loft a nude figure, their mouths close to the victim, as if to devour him or suck his blood).

– I hold the kitten with the flag of Ecuador. My naked body is kneeling on the flag of Switzerland and Greece.

Title: Cats of Mykonos
Subtitle: Cats, me and Ecuador by Twilight
Description: I was inspired by “San Giorgio Maggiore by Twilight by Claude Monet 1908-12” and by “The Lamentation of the Death of Christ by Giotto di Bondone 1303-05” I like to play with the symbolism of gold in art history and my indigenous background. I learned in school that the reason we were conquered was the precious metal gold. I use the color gold, which was used in art history as symbol of Heaven, and the golden Mask which represents the sun Inka God Inti. My golden hair shines with the Twilight of Mykonos and I have on my breast the flag of Ecuador.

Subtitle: Scenes from the starving and dying Cats of the streets of Mykonos
Description: I was inspired by “Scenes from the Massacres of Chios by Eugene Delacroix (1834)” This is a homage to Greece, their independence started at 1821, the national flag represent the phrase “Ελευθερία ή Θάνατος” (“Freedom or Death”).
